Human beings try to find relief from the pain from the beginning. In earlier times, plants were used as anesthesia. A few of the plants were mandrake plants (previously known as Mandragora), opium or hemp, and cocaine. All these plants were drunk by the patients to get relief from pain or during any cutting of flesh or burning of the skin. Because of the addiction to some of these plants, these are banned and technology has entered the medical field. Now many injections and other solutions are there to get anesthesia.
